Who I am
This site is run by James Pardoe. I decide what happens to your details. To reach me about your data, reply to any email I send you.
What I collect
Your email address, and your first name if you give it. If you answer the question on the thank-you page, I store your answer. I also note which site sent you here, such as LinkedIn or YouTube.
Why
To send you the breakdown you asked for, and occasional emails about what I make next. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you sign up. You can take it back any time.
Who handles it
The site and my email list are hosted by Vercel, with the list stored in Ireland. Emails are sent by Resend from its EU region. Both are US companies, so your details may reach the United States under standard contractual safeguards. I never sell or share your details with anyone else.
Analytics
I count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. After that I stop emailing you, and you can ask me to delete your details completely.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how I use them. Reply to any of my emails and I'll sort it. If you're unhappy, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
